Hounds for Humanity is based out of Columbus, Ohio. We are proud to be a local organization that certifies therapy dogs and provides the community with loving dogs who can help everyone feel special and bring smiles to many faces.

If you are interested in getting involved there are many ways you can do that. You can donate, volunteer with your dog, or volunteer without your dog. Click HERE for more details.

We try to get out in the community as much as possible. If you are interested in meeting us while we’re out and about please click HERE for the latest dates of where we will be.

Therapy dogs, and service dogs, are two different things. Although cut from the same cloth, both are loving and affectionate, but they both serve different purposes.

Therapy dogs are owned by a family or a single handler and that family volunteers to take their pet out to share the love.

Service dogs are owned by one person and is used to provide help in the form of services, such as seeing eye dogs.

We are proud to certify therapy dogs; however, we do not provide  service animals.
